1 Fat Quarter – Monster Body and Tentacles
1 Fat Eighth – Apron Front and Back
1 Fat Eighth – Apron Pocket and Hat
1 Fat Eighth – Monster Base
2” x 2” scrap of White felt – Monster Eyes and Teeth
2” x 1 ½” scrap of Black felt – Monster Pupils and Mouth
2” x 2” Scrap of Felt (to contrast with body fabric) – Tentacle Pads
Fibrefill or stuffing
7” x 2” rectangle of Heavy, Iron-On Interfacing
7” square of Light, Iron-On Interfacing
30cm (12”) piece of Freezer Paper (18”or about 46cm wide off the roll)*
Disappearing fabric marker of your choice
6 stranded Embroidery Floss (For Chef’s Hat and Apron Pocket)
Embroidery needle (such as a crewel 3-6)
44” (1.1m) Length of ¼” wide ribbon, tape or ric-rac, for apron ties
Fray stopper or clear nailpolish(optional)
* If you can’t get hold of freezer paper, paper or card templates are fine, freezer paper templates are just easier.
