When we collect data

When you visit our website data is collected through cookies. Why we need your data

  • So we know where to send your order and what to send.

  • To process your payment.

  • So we can contact you about your order.

  • To respond to your queries. 

  • To send you newsletters. 

  • So that our courier company can update you on your delivery and know where to deliver to.

  • To comply with UK law - For example, so we can pass details of suspected fraud onto the police.

How long is your data held for

We keep details of orders placed for 5 years to comply with legal and contractual obligations. All other data is kept for 5 years or until you ask for the data to be removed.

3rd party access

We share relevant data with Royal Mail, Hermes and other courier companies in order to facilitate the delivery of your order. These companies are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose.

When payments are processed we are given a payment reference so that we can track the payment and make any necessary refunds. However card details are not stored with us here at Fabric Shed and cannot be seen. That information is processed by the relevant payment partner and these companies are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose than to process the payment.
