  • Width: 70mm (10-25-25-10mm)
  • 60% PES, 40% ZS
  • Creates a 25mm (1") waistband with 1cm seam allowance

  • How it Works

For Both Bag Straps and Waistbands

    • Lay your cut strip/s of Waist Shaper onto the wrong side of your fabric, shiny side of the interfacing facing the back of the fabric.
    • Fuse the tape into place with an iron for approx 8 seconds.
    • There are three perforated lines on the tape, two close to the long edges of the tape, and one in the middle. Start by folding along the perforated lines close to the long edges of the tape, folding the fabric to the back of band. Then fold the whole piece in half along the middle line, so that the interfacing and all the raw edges are hidden inside the piece.

    To Make a Bag Strap

    • Simply sew the strap shut, as close the edge of the open side as comfortable. Simply sew the one side shut, or sew around all four sides of the strap to add strength and symmetry to the finished strap.

    To Make a Waistband

    • Place your garment in front of you, with the back/inside of your garment facing you. Open up your waistband and place it on top of your garment, so that you are looking at the back of the waistband, and the top line of perforations is lined up with your seam allowance/sew line (The rest of the waistband will be sitting on top of the garment NOT above it).
    • Sew into place and then fold your waistband back up along your fold lines.
    • Turn your garment over, so that you are looking at the front, the waistband should land just below where the sew line is from attaching the band to the back of the garment.
    • Pin and then sew into place.
